Who this course is for?
This course applies to workers in nominated occupational first aid or management roles. It’s suitable for construction site managers, health and safety advisors, supervisors, and anyone who has a keen interest in the litigation of first aid. The course dives deeper into details of state & federal legislation, legal responsibilities, and duty of care. The information obtained from this course can used in a variety of industries.
Pre-requisites
There are no formal prerequisite units required for entry into this course. Learners will require English language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills.
How is the course structured?
- Combines HLTAID009 CPR, HLTAID010 Basic life support
- Online training – 2-3 hours, self-paced.
- In class – 4-6 hours
- Theory based training – in a relaxed and fun environment
- Written assessment – Multiple-choice quiz
- Practical assessment – Apply CPR & first aid skills
