Participants of this course will gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to respond in a first aid situation across a number of settings including workplace & local community. The course is run in accordance with the guidelines of the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies. Students will enjoy a fun and informative scenario-based training with access to the very latest first aid equipment.
If your professional role involves working in an ESI (Electrical Supply Industry) environment with live, low voltage switchboards, then knowing how to help someone being electrocuted and perform a low voltage rescue (or LVR) is an essential workplace skill.
This ESI course incorporates vital first aid skills with recognising a potentially hazardous environment and the subsequent measures to avoid injury/further injury. Simulations focus on the most common first aid situations ESI employees face.
